Joe Fishburne is an accomplished fine art landscape photographer residing in Beaufort, South Carolina. Born and raised in Charleston, he has gained a deep appreciation for the beauty of this coastal region and has the privilege of capturing its scenery through his lens.
Joe draws inspiration from the peaceful marshes, pristine beaches and lush forests of the Lowcountry and his photography is characterized by its exceptional attention to detail and masterful use of natural light. His dedication and pride in capturing the natural beauty that defines coastal South Carolina shows in the craftsmanship of his art.
Utilizing Fujifilm’s GFX 100s medium format camera, he is able to capture the highest quality and finest details of a scene enabling him to print beautiful large-scale photographs. Each of his images goes through a meticulous process of being reviewed, selected, refined and printed. Selected photographs are giclee printed on archival fine art canvas and paper using archival pigmented inks, both approved by the Fine Art Trade Guild, ensuring superior quality and longevity for collectors and art enthusiasts.
In his free time, Joe loves to explore the Lowcountry with his family, always on the lookout for new and inspiring images to capture. His work has been featured in various galleries, and he is committed to pushing the boundaries of his craft and creating images that truly speak to the beauty of the world around us.
Joe's work has been displayed in local exhibitions and is currently represented at the Gallery at Sweetgrass at Wild Dunes Resort, Isle of Palms, SC, the Beaufort Art Association, Beaufort, SC and the Society of Bluffton Artists (SOBA), Bluffton, SC.

Gallery at Sweetgrass is nestled into the Sweetgrass Plaza at the Wild Dunes Resort, Isle of Palms, SC. The Gallery currently showcases regionally and nationally recognized artists that have created pieces celebrating the beauty, color and tranquility of our coastal locale. Works range from oil-painted landscapes, seascapes and streetscapes to impressionist and abstract views. In addition, the Gallery offers serene fine art photography, pottery, woodworking and jewelry. The Gallery hosts an artist-in-residence program, with featured artists who create in the Gallery while sharing their artistic passion with the Isle of Palms community and resort guests.
Beaufort Art Association (BAA), Beaufort Art Association Gallery is located on Bay Street in the beautiful historic district of Beaufort, SC. BAA was chartered in 1957 and is a non-profit, 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization. BAA has over 200 local artist members with 70 members exhibiting their work in the gallery. Visiting the gallery you may find original works of oil, watercolor, pastel and acrylic paintings as well as fine art photography, jewelry and sculptures.
It’s mission is to encourage, support and provide opportunities for the growth of all members, as well as to contribute to the community with aesthetic and educational experiences in the visual arts.
Society of Bluffton Artists (SOBA), The Society of Bluffton Artists’ Gallery is located in charming and historic Old Town Bluffton, just a few miles from Hilton Head Island’s beautiful beaches and renowned golf courses.
SOBA is a non-profit 501c-3 organization established to promote a stimulating community environment for the visual arts and assist area students and artists in enhancing their artistic abilities. The Society of Bluffton Artists is operated solely by artist member volunteers. With works from more than 100 artists, the gallery provides an elegant display of original oil, watercolor, mixed media, acrylic and pastel paintings, photography, handcrafted jewelry, and sculpture by local and regional artists.
